Retail Sales Merchandiser

Role Title - Retail Sales Merchandiser  - Oxford Street - 35 hours per week 

Shift pattern - 7 Monday, 7 Tuesday, 7 Thursday, 7 Friday & 7 Saturday

You must start your shift between 9am and 10am on a weekday

You will be based in Oxford Street but may be required to travel to different stores within your zone. We are looking for those who are available to start as soon as possible.

You will be working alongside a Team Leader, who will provide you with coaching and ongoing support. Being tech savvy is desirable as we use quite a few apps to make working here as smooth as possible.

Job role:

To be host & customer focused, an ambassador for our brands

• Manages effective balance of operational tasks with a “customer comes first” attitude, understanding & seeing things from a customer’s point of view & being consistently positive, professional & helpful 

• Demonstrates an understanding of differing customer needs within brands, including our 3rd party serviced brands 

• Proactively builds good business relationships with the host store teams 

To consistently deliver excellent product presentation & visual merchandising (VM) standards to optimise sales]

• Understands & applies basic skills of merchandising as a minimum standard – ensuring product presentation reflects current direction at all times, & that all relevant VMGs & trading instructions are followed 

• Works with the host team to ensure that products are outposted to further promote our ranges, in the relevant brands 

• Launches & updates markdown / promotions as instructed, on time & to the standard required 

To comply with all operational instructions & policies thus promoting business efficiency

• Complies with all host stores’ operational requirements for both our own brands & all 3rd party servicing 

• Maintains consistently high housekeeping standards both on the salesfloor & in back of house, ensuring DCK stock is secure. 

• Implements company procedures on stock handling & replenishment 

• Actions all recalls, faulty & write-off products, according to company procedure 

• Manages incoming stock & files paperwork appropriately, providing required feedback to the Team Leader 

Please note - The Christmas period is our busiest time and therefore we are unable to authorise any leave in December, please bear this in mind when applying.

Requirements;

• Extensive experience in a Retail Visual Merchandising role

• Sales and or retail sales experience is preferred

• Access to either an Apple or Android smartphone with the operating systems of either Android 8.1 or later OR Apple IOS is 13.4 or later
