DCK is one of the world's leading fashion jewellery companies, working with many well-known retailers and high street fashion brands such as River Island, M&S, Tesco, Next & Matalan to name a few. We have over 25 years’ experience in fashion jewellery. We are experts in designing, developing and trading in accessories, working with a wide range of partners and selling directly to consumers.
We are currently recruiting for a People Coordinator to work in our Billericay office.

Our Head Office is in Billericay, Essex with transport links to Central London, Stratford and Southend. We also offer free parking if you drive to us!
Optimises the efficiency of the People Team -
Arranging meetings and People events, helping coordinate People processes within the department, and researching information as directed by the People Partners.
·Manage, monitor, and control People information using electronic forms and trackers, including but not limited to, colleague absence, starters and leavers, vacancies, induction, probationary and annual reviews.
Own the company benefits, including PMI, Life Assurance and Travel Insurance and ensuring necessary benefit documentation is available to all colleagues.
Ensures DCK follows Right to Work compliance including visas and leave to remain, managing non-compliance
Co-ordinates the DCK Probation process for new colleagues. This includes monitoring probation reviews, escalating to the People Advisors as appropriate.
Maintains electronic colleague files (both current and former colleagues) and applicant information, ensuring that GDPR requirements are always met and that files are up to date and accurate.
Manages mass colleague changes using Mail Merge
Manage and maintain admin aspects of lifecycle ie Onboarding, Induction, probation, queries, contract variations, leavers
Builds great cross-functional relationships and collaborates with colleagues -
Provides efficient and effective administrative support to the People team. This includes all administration relating to the working lifecycle of all DCK colleagues, including onboarding, colleague changes and leavers
Acting as contact for HR queries within Company policies, procedures, and practices
Provides generalist People advice and support for first line queries from managers and colleagues, in a timely and efficient manner. To escalate queries as appropriate.
Collaborative Working ie Assisting and note taking in colleague relations meetings with People Partners.
Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data ie absence and other periods of leave.
Coordinating induction plans, managing the buddy scheme, and conducting new starter calls to ensure our new colleagues are supported when joining and have a consistent experience at DCK.
Developing and maintaining collaborative, productive relationships with colleagues, managers, and the People team
Managing the parental leave process and policies, conducting risk assessments, and supported colleagues through pregnancy and leave.
Probation
Any other duties and specific project work assigned by the People Partners.

Job requirements
Skills, experience, and qualifications:
Basic understanding of employment laws - Essential
Effective communicator – both written and oral
Strong administrator with customer service and people skills
Intermediate Microsoft Office; knowledge or use of electronic HR systems
Ability to prioritise own high-volume workload
Meticulous attention to detail
Excellent planning and organization
Team player who values collaborative working
