Assistant Buyer

 

Do you love fashion and the latest trends? Due to exciting and continued growth, we have a fantastic opportunity available for an experienced Assistant Buyer to join our successful Buying team at DCK Group in our Billericay office.

 

What you will be doing;

 

Supporting and working as part of the buying team and wider business to plan, deliver and trade product ranges, tailored to the target customer.

 

Your responsibilities will include;

 

  • Support the building of ranges that are in line with the customer profile, host requirements and critical path
  • Prepare and manage samples for suppliers for negotiations and trip preparation/development
  • Ensure all range plans and systems are accurate and updated in a timely manner
  • Undertake competition shops to support the buyer in aligning the brand positioning
  • Identify opportunities in the range to support the buyer with improving speed-to-market

Requirements

What we are looking for;

 

  • A keen interest in fashion and latest trends
  • Competent numerical skills for negotiation and trading
  • Strong organisational and task management skills
  • Ability to communicate at all levels and build long lasting relationships
  • Good working ability with relevant IT systems (Microsoft Office)
